A brief project description

Volunteer group, Friends of Strathaven Park came up with the idea of a sensory garden at the centre of the popular park in 2017 and carried out a consultation on the design with local care homes and school children.

Expected results of the project

The intention is to provide stimulation, fascination and relaxation for all age groups, which is accessible for all ranges of physical and cognitive ability.
