We are delighted to announce the launch of the first year of our Support Scheme for Sustainable Energy Studies/Training in Norway.

If you know of any young people in your area studying or planning to study courses related to renewable energy, tell them to apply to our support scheme! Or if there is an organisation in your area which would benefit from funding for training in the area of energy sustainability or renewable energy, then please encourage them to find out more.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications to the Scheme must be submitted by completing the: ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Mid March 2022 – Contact successful applicants

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Applicants must be 16 or over at the start of the course.
• Eligible applicants are those individuals living within Okla and Hennøy Falck Renewables wind farm community areas.
• Applicants must be studying a qualification that would help them gain professional skills they can use in the renewable energy sector.
• All applicants must complete the online application form, including details of a academic referee who is willing to support the application.
• The annual fund will be shared between the successful applicants.
• Falck Renewables may decide to provide a portion of the support applied for.
• Falck Renewables will cover expenses which assist the applicants to complete their course. Eligible expenses include travel/commuting costs, training materials (books, software), internet connection and equipment.
• The successful applicants must provide receipts or evidence of all their expenditure.
• Evidence that the applicant is registered and attending the course will be required before any money is paid.
• Applicants may be asked to repay funds if they fail to complete the course.
• Applications will be considered by a Falck Renewables committee.

KRITERIER FÖR ATT ANSÖKA

• Sökande måste vara 16 år eller äldre vid kursstart.
• Stödberättigade sökande är de personer som bor inom en radie av 50 mil från Falck Renewables Svenska vindkraftparker i Brattmyrliden och Åliden vid Trehörningsjö.
• Sökande måste studera en behörighet som skulle hjälpa dem att få yrkeskunskaper som de kan använda inom sektorn för förnybar energi.
• Alla sökande måste fylla i ansökningsblanketten online, inklusive uppgifter om en person som är villig att vidimera ansökan.
• Den årliga fonden kommer att delas mellan de framgångsrika sökande.
• Falck Renewables kan besluta att tillhandahålla en del av det stöd som söks.
• Falck Renewables kommer att täcka utgifter som hjälper de sökande att genomföra sin kurs. Stödberättigade utgifter inkluderar rese-/pendlingskostnader, utbildningsmaterial (böcker, programvara), internetuppkoppling och utrustning.
• De framgångsrika sökande måste tillhandahålla kvitton eller bevis på alla sina utgifter.
• Bevis för att den sökande är registrerad och går kursen kommer att krävas innan några pengar betalas ut.
• Sökande kan bli ombedd att återbetala medel om de inte klarar kursen.
• Ansökningar kommer att behandlas av en Falck Renewables -kommitté

• Les candidat(e)s doivent avoir 16 ans ou plus au début de la formation et être déjà inscrit(e)s au sein d’un parcours qualifiant.
• Les candidat(e)s doivent résider au sein des communes d’implantation des parcs éoliens de Falck Energies Renouvelables, à savoir : Département de l’Aisne (02), communes de Hauteville et Noyales / Département de la Charente-Maritime (17) : communes de Bignay et de Mazeray / Département du Cher (18) : communes de Mareuil-sur-Arnon et Sainte-Thorette / Département du Finistère (29) : commune de Plouigneau / Département du Maine-et-Loire (49) : communes de Chemillé-en-Anjou et Coron / Département de la Marne (51) : communes de Coupetz, Faux-Vésigneul, Togny-aux-Bœufs et Vitry-la-Ville / Département de l’Oise (60) : communes de Breteuil et Esquennoy.
• Les candidat(e)s doivent déjà suivre un parcours qualifiant qui les aidera à acquérir des compétences professionnelles qu’ils/elles pourront utiliser exclusivement dans le secteur des énergies renouvelables et du développement durable.
• Les candidat(e)s doivent remplir le formulaire de candidature en ligne, en y incluant les coordonnées d’un référent académique disposé à soutenir la candidature.
• Le fonds annuel sera partagé entre les candidat(e)s    sélectionné(e)s. Falck Renewables se réserve le droit de retenir les candidatures qu’elle juge bon de retenir et informera également les candidat(e)s non sélectionné(e)s.
• Falck Renewables couvrira des dépenses nécessaires aux  candidat(e)s pour réaliser leur formation. Les dépenses éligibles comprennent les frais de déplacements/transports, le matériel de formation (livres, logiciels), la connexion internet et autres équipements.
• Falck Renewables peut décider de verser qu’une partie du montant demandé.
• Les candidat(e)s sélectionné(e)s doivent fournir des reçus ou preuves de toutes les dépenses.
• La preuve que les candidat(e)s sont inscrit(e)s et assistent au cours sera exigée avant tout versement d’argent.
• Il pourra être demandé aux candidat(e)s de rembourser les fonds s’ils/elles ne suivent pas la formation jusqu’à sa fin.

CRITERIOS DE SELECCIÓN

• Los solicitantes deben tener 16 años o más al inicio del curso.
• Sólo se admitirán solicitudes de aquellos interesados que residan cerca de: los parques eólicos de Carrecastro, -situado en los municipios de Tordesillas y Velilla, Valladolid-; Cabezo San Roque, -situado en Muel, Zaragoza-; y del parque fotovoltaico Desafío Solar, -situado en Escatrón, Zaragoza-.
• Los solicitantes deben estar estudiando una titulación que les ayude a adquirir habilidades profesionales que puedan utilizar en el sector de las energías renovables/ sostenibles.
• Todos los solicitantes deben completar el formulario de solicitud online, incluidos los detalles de un tutor académico que esté dispuesto a apoyar dicha solicitud.
• Los fondos anuales se repartirán entre los candidatos seleccionados.
• Falck Renewables puede decidir aportar una parte de la ayuda solicitada.
• Falck Renewables cubrirá los gastos que ayuden a los candidatos a completar su curso. Entre los gastos se incluyen costes de viaje/transporte, materiales de estudio (libros, software), conexión a Internet y equipo informático.
• El solicitante seleccionado debe aportar recibos o comprobantes de todos los gastos asociados a este programa.
• Se requerirá comprobante de que el solicitante está matriculado y que asiste al curso antes de aportar la ayuda.
• Se les puede pedir a los solicitantes que devuelvan los fondos si no completan el curso.

Perhaps you have a great idea for a project which would deliver sustainable mobility while protecting against Covid19; a plan for using digitalisation to enable better business/life/social cohesion; or a need for equipment or training which could spark local entrepreneurial skills or support sustainable businesses. Tell us more in the application form and send it to us with any supporting information by 11 October.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & GENERAL RULES

• Each community benefit fund or cooperative can enter up to three projects using the form below
• Up to 80% of the cost of each winning project (up to £5,000) will be financed by Falck Renewables
• The project should:

– be located within the geographical area covered by the wind farm community benefit fund
– be aligned with as many of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as possible. Find out more about the SDGs here
– have a start date of within 12 months of the application to the competition and have demonstrated results within a further 12 months
– be supported by the local community
– be able to be evaluated to measure its success

We are delighted to announce the launch of the fourth year of our Support Scheme for Sustainable Energy Studies/Training.

Last year we provided funding for five students from communities around three of our wind farms. They used the funds to help in a number of ways, from accommodation and wi-fi to course books, laptops and travel expenses. In 2019 we provided the McInnes Group with financial support to upskill its workforce in installing renewable heating systems with training from the University of the Highlands and Islands. In 2018, we supported student Ryan Bell from South Lanarkshire with funding to help with his course in wind turbine maintenance.
